We are now seeking personal assistants for respiratory care assignments in Täby. About the job as a personal assistant We are looking for someone who wants to develop within the personal assistance profession and at the same time make a difference by contributing to the best possible quality of life for our customer who is neurologically ill and therefore cared for with respiratory support at home. As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. Your workplace is where the customer is located, and your tasks involve assisting the customer so that they have the conditions to live the life they wish. Duties The work tasks include managing basic hygiene routines, handling tracheal cannula, dressing changes and cleaning, airway suctioning, managing home ventilator, medication administration, tube feeding, and care assistance, etc. We are looking for someone who: You need to have empathy and understanding of what this type of care need means in terms of contributing to the best possible quality of life for the customer and creating an atmosphere and environment where the customer and family can feel calm and secure. You are a team player and can collaborate with all colleagues to achieve the goal of the assignment. Previous experience is a plus, but we place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You will receive an introduction and training at the National Respiratory Center at Danderyd Hospital. You need to understand and speak Swedish fluently in both speech and writing. About the employment The position is a fixed-term employment with hourly pay. Working hours are 8-15 and 15-22, weekdays and weekends, and you always work together with a colleague. Salary and other employment terms according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna - Kommunal.
