About Me
I am a 61-year-old man who uses a wheelchair following a previous stroke. I enjoy being at home, but I also like getting out. I appreciate walks, trips to the sea, visits to Djurgården, and going out for coffee. Cooking is a major interest of mine – I've been a chef my entire life and still enjoy food and cooking very much. I have many different interests and also enjoy music, with reggae being one of my favorites. I like having someone to talk with, and it's an advantage if we share some interests, though it's absolutely not a requirement.
In my daily life, I need support with transfers and personal hygiene, so experience with manual lifts is beneficial. I also have diabetes and memory difficulties, which means I need a reliable, attentive, and responsive assistant who can support me well.
It's important to me that I get to know my assistants and that we have good chemistry. For this reason, we'll meet at my home before you start, so both of us can gauge how it feels to work together.
I'm now looking for someone who wants to be a reliable support in my daily life and who wants to help me have the opportunity to get out, experience things, and feel comfortable at home.
Who Am I Looking For?
You are reliable, social, and attentive, and you enjoy talking and spending time with others.
You are responsible, attentive, and can take your own initiative.
You have patience and understanding that my memory sometimes fails and that I may need extra support and reminders.
You can help with transfers and personal hygiene in a safe way.
It's a plus if you share some of my interests, but most important is that we get along well together.
I'm looking for both men and women, and preferably not under 30 years old.
You need to be able to speak and write Swedish, as communication is especially important to me.
Work Schedule and Hours
Shifts are scheduled on all weekdays 08:00 - 15:00 and 15:00 - 22:00 on a rotating schedule.
When Do You Start Working With Us?
The planned start is September 2026. But what's most important is that we find the right person for the job, so write in your application when you can start and we can surely work something out.
