About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's autonomy and integrity, and helping ensure that everyday life runs smoothly. Each assistance role is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client is a 12-year-old boy living with his parents and siblings in Härnösand. He has a motor disability and intellectual disability. He also has epilepsy. The boy has no verbal language, so it is essential that you as an assistant are attentive to his body language and expressions. You will actively read his communication and support the development of his ability to engage in activities. You will become an important part of a secure family environment where your presence creates stability and enriches everyday life. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant requires a strong ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client. For this position, you must have: good proficiency in Swedish a B-class driver's license and access to your own car For this position, it is an advantage if you have: experience with similar work or work in a school environment experience working with alternative communication, such as TAKK experience working with children/young people experience with epilepsy Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "For the duration of the assistance assignment." We are currently seeking three new colleagues for the following positions: Position 1: 37.5% (15 hours/week). Start date: Immediately Position 2: 30% (12 hours/week). Start date: Immediately Position 3: 20% (8 hours/week). Start date: August 1 Working hours are the same for all three positions: 2:30 PM–8:00 PM on weekdays and 10:00 AM–6:00 PM on weekends. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement.
