Personal Assistants Needed for New Assistance Team in Norrköping

At the end of August, I am moving into my own apartment in Norrköping and am therefore seeking personal assistants for a brand new assistance team. The team will consist of five regular assistants plus substitute staff for coverage as needed. I have a lifelong disability, which means that as my assistant, you become my extended arm in everyday life. I speak for myself, make my own decisions about my life, and organize the assistance together with my work coordinator. My support needs consist mainly of: -Personal hygiene (urostomy) -Household tasks -Social interaction -Practical help in daily life Care training or previous experience as a personal assistant is not a requirement, as personal chemistry and the right personal qualities are what matters most. About me: My great interests are dance band music and cooking. I enjoy preparing food from scratch together with my assistants. I also like interior design and appreciate having things nice and orderly around me. We are looking for someone who is: -Calm and reliable as a person -Attentive and thorough -Flexible and stress-resistant -Dependable and a quick learner -Adaptable in different situations Qualifications: -Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as you will sometimes help me in communication with others -Good physical condition as daily lifting and transfers occur -(transfers always involve two assistants) -Non-smoker Please tell us about yourself, your background, and why you are applying for this position.
