About the Position Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves protecting the client's autonomy and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance is uniquely tailored based on the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client's individual needs guide the workday, and work can include, for example, help with mobility, personal care, exercise and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and takes responsibility. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the client. For this position, you must have: Want to work for a 56-year-old man living in Luleå Good knowledge of Swedish Able to cycle (Client enjoys outings and uses a permobil; as an assistant you cycle alongside on an assistant bicycle) Good physical fitness and able to perform heavy lifting For this position, it is an advantage if you have: Experience with similar work Experience working with low-affect communication Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Work Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "hourly employment," which means work as needed. Before the hourly position starts, you will undergo paid introduction/onboarding. During the onboarding period, you will receive a contract for a fixed-term hourly employment with a set end date. Work hours are scheduled as follows: Day shift 7-16, evening 16-22, and weekend 9-22. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement.
