Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Swedish Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on their needs. You respect the client's autonomy and integrity, and help ensure their daily life runs smoothly. About the Position Working as a personal assistant requires strong interpersonal skills. We're looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It's also important that you take initiative and see what needs to be done. We're seeking someone who meets the following: Good knowledge of the Swedish language It's also an advantage if you: Have good Swedish language skills Have experience with tube feeding Have experience with ventilators Have experience with ceiling lifts Have experience with cough assist machines Can tolerate pets Have good physical strength for heavy lifting Are smoke-free during work hours Share the client's interests Personal suitability will be weighted heavily in our assessment. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary: The current employment form is "for the duration of the assistance assignment" with an employment level of approximately 50%. Work hours are scheduled for active night shifts. Working hours: 23:00–07:00, on both weekdays and weekends. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date by agreement. Working at Humana A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can provide a valid ID document and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden.
