Personal assistance is a service provided under LSS (the Act Concerning Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's autonomy and integrity, and help ensure that daily life runs smoothly. About the Position The role of personal assistant places high demands on your ability to build strong relationships. We're therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It's also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. We'd especially like you to be someone who enjoys when things happen, who takes initiative, and who can suggest activities you might do together. We're looking for someone who meets the following requirements: wants to work for a 26-year-old man living in Mjölby has good Swedish language skills can work in a household with pets; the client has a dog at home has previous experience working as a personal assistant or in a comparable care profession has good physical fitness and can perform transfers It's also a merit if you: have previous experience using transfer aids Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Position Percentage, and Salary: Employment form "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with a position percentage of approximately 72%, 29 h/week. Working hours are Tuesdays 15:00–22:00, Wednesdays 07:00–15:00, and Fridays 07:00–15:00, plus every other weekend during even weeks. Weekend shifts include both Saturday and Sunday. Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date immediately or by agreement.
