Here you have a cheerful 20-year-old guy living in Upplands Väsby with my family—mom, dad, and older sister.
We're looking for someone who can work part-time. The work involves participating in activities, such as swimming, outings, and fika, or having fun at home.
Your tasks will include feeding me (both orally and via PEG tube), giving me medication, being my arms, legs, and voice, transfers between mobility aids and personal hygiene.
I have dyskinetic cerebral palsy and use a wheelchair, but that doesn't stop me from moving around. I have many different mobility aids that make daily life easier, such as my walking frame, which I like to use. With it, I can walk on my own or run depending on my mood.
I don't have speech of my own; I communicate using PODD (picture book) and body language, eye contact. I'm clear about what I want and easy to understand.
For me, it's very important that we understand each other well, so you must speak and write fluent Swedish. This is because you are my voice.
At home I have a lift, but there are other places where there's no access to a lift, and manual lifting occurs. During activities, it's often 2 people working and helping each other so the lifts aren't so demanding. Even though I'm quite light for a 20-year-old.
Varying work hours.
Many describe me as a very cheerful person who loves having fun. Some things I enjoy are:
swimming
working out
going to shopping centers
joking around and reading books
taking medical transport
listening to music
going to concerts
cycling
Your age doesn't matter, as long as you have a childlike spirit, lots of imagination, and are physically strong.
We prefer that you are smoke-free and don't wear strong fragrances since the customer has asthma.
A requirement is that you have a driver's license; sometimes you need to drive my car.
But a requirement is that you have a big heart and easily laugh and spread joy around you.
You must be able to swim.
