About the Position In your role as a personal assistant, you help customers with what comes up in their daily lives. Personal assistance is a service under LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). Each customer is unique and work tasks vary based on individual needs. The work may include, for example, assistance with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making everyday life function safely and smoothly. To thrive as a personal assistant, it's important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the customer. Since each assistance arrangement is unique, we will learn more about you during the recruitment process to create the best possible match. You will receive information about which customer or customers you may work with and how the work is organized in each assignment. At Humana, it's important that both you as an assistant and the customer feel secure in the collaboration. That's why all new assistants receive customized introductions, both to the professional role and to the specific customer you will work with. Who Are You? We are looking for someone who is good at building positive relationships, has great commitment, is willing to take responsibility, and adapts easily to new situations. Since all our customers have different needs and preferences, we ask you to answer the selection questions as clearly and thoroughly as possible – this increases the chance that we can match you with the right assignment. Working Hours and Employment Type As temporary staff, you work as needed with one or more of our customers in Mora. Working hours are 24-hour shifts with on-call time. We try to match your availability and preferences with the operation's needs as much as possible. Please describe your availability and any preferences regarding working hours in your application. Start Date Start date is by agreement. Working at Humana A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you as an applicant can present a valid ID document and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To be able to work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old. Under Swedish legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as a personal assistant to a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to provide an extract from the police's criminal record and suspicion register before a possible employment.
