We are now seeking personal assistants for two 15-year-old twin sisters in Örnsköldsvik. In this role, you will work with both twins, who have extensive support needs and require assistance with everything in their daily lives. About the Position Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). The customers' individual needs guide the workday, and the work may include, for example, assistance with mobility, personal care, and household tasks and activities both at home and outside. The sisters have different interests and personalities, which makes the work both enjoyable and varied. One of the girls is a huge hockey fan who loves attending matches and is generally open to most things. The other twin prefers a slower pace and enjoys relaxing on the couch watching her tablet. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore seeking someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the customer. For this position, you must have: The ability to provide a criminal record certificate (required as the customers are under 18 years old). Tolerance for pets (a dog is in the home). Good knowledge of Swedish. For this position, it is advantageous if you have: Experience working with children/youth. Experience with tube feeding. Experience with epilepsy. Previous experience working with people who have CP (cerebral palsy) or similar physical disabilities. Share the customers' interests. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary We are seeking someone willing to work approximately 50% during the summer with the possibility of a larger position in the fall. Working hours during the summer are scheduled for daytime and evenings, both on weekdays and weekends. Work shifts vary and may look like, for example: 09:00 – 16:45 09:00 – 19:00 10:00 – 20:00 Introduction and Employment Type: The employment type is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts." Before the position starts, you will undergo a paid introduction/onboarding. During the onboarding period, you will be on a "temporary hourly employment" contract with a set end date. After the summer, there is an opportunity to increase your employment level if desired. Night shifts are also added to the fall schedule. Working hours will then be varying and primarily scheduled for evening and night, both on weekdays and weekends. Day shifts on weekends and school holidays. It is worth noting that night shifts involve "waiting time/on-call sleep duty." The employment level for the fall is not completely finalized yet; you will receive more information about this from your direct manager during the process. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date immediately/by agreement!
