We are now looking for a personal service technician at an established player in the automotive industry in Skövde. Here you will have a varied role where you not only work with service and repairs, but also maintain close contact with the customer and are responsible for the entire process surrounding the customer's workshop visit. You will be an important part of the customer's experience and have the opportunity to combine your technical expertise with service and problem-solving. About the Position As a personal service technician, you manage the entire workflow around the customer and vehicle, from the first customer contact to when the car is ready and the customer leaves the workshop satisfied. You work with, among other things: Customer contact before and during the workshop visit Service, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting Diagnostics and problem-solving Planning and execution of workshop work Communication regarding the vehicle's status, work performed, and any recommendations Ensuring that work is performed with high quality and according to agreement Follow-up and contact with the customer before returning the vehicle This means you get a broad and varied role where you both use your technical expertise and build the relationship with the customer. You follow the vehicle through the entire process and ensure that the customer has a professional and secure experience from start to finish. You work independently with your own tasks but are also part of a team with experienced colleagues. There are also good opportunities for training and skills development in automotive technology. What We're Looking For Several years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic Solid knowledge of service, repair, and vehicle diagnostics Automotive technical training or equivalent experience A genuine interest in vehicles and technology Comfortable with customer interaction and taking responsibility for the entire workflow Fluent in speaking and writing Swedish Good computer skills Valid B driving license Meritorious qualifications: Experience from an authorized workshop Experience working with customer responsibility or as a personal service technician Experience with diagnostics and troubleshooting Good English Willingness to develop within new automotive technology Other Information If you have any questions about the position, please contact the responsible recruiter Elliot Sahlstrand at [email protected].
