At Levanda Personlig Assistans, we are now seeking personal assistants for full-time work and temporary positions to support a middle-aged woman with CP in Västra Frölunda. You will become part of an existing team that creates security, continuity, and a functioning everyday life together with the client. Introduction will take place by agreement.
Varied work with the person at the center
The client uses a wheelchair and needs help with most things in her daily life. The work includes personal care, transfers, communication, daily routines, and activities. You will be there as support throughout the day and night, with respect for the client's wishes, autonomy, and pace.
The client communicates using Bliss. If you have experience with this, that's a big plus, but you don't need to know it from the start. You'll receive training on site. What matters most is that you're curious, attentive, and take time to listen even when words aren't spoken aloud.
Work shifts are mainly arranged as 24-hour shifts from 08:00–08:00.
The client bathes certain days a week, and two assistants work together on those days. There are therefore also shorter work shifts related to bathing and other tasks that require two people.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who is confident, responsible, and warm, preferably with a good sense of humor. You can stay calm when something takes time, notice subtle signals, and take initiative while respecting the client's wishes.
You are comfortable with personal care and understand how important it is to be reliable, arrive on time, and contribute to good teamwork. This role requires both commitment and sensitivity, and sometimes the ability to share a laugh in the midst of everyday life.
Experience with personal assistance, CP, transfers, or alternative communication is a merit. Your personal suitability carries significant weight, and you will receive introduction to the client's needs, assistive devices, and routines.
