Inova assistans provides personal assistance with the support of highly skilled personnel and a commitment to advancing each individual's right to self-determination. Our ambition is to create contexts and activities that promote community participation and increased understanding between people with different living circumstances. We are now seeking personal assistants for an elderly man with acquired brain injury who lives in his own home in Uppsala. Currently, we are looking for temporary hourly staff for work shifts when regular personnel are absent. This may include absences during both shorter and longer periods. Experience in personal assistance is a merit but not a requirement – the most important thing is that you are engaged and willing to learn. We are looking for someone who is flexible, creative, positive, collaborative, and has the ability to see solutions and opportunities. You should be able to work independently and take significant responsibility, as the work involves some solo work with the individual. Before starting, we offer introductory sessions so you can see if the role suits you and if the personal chemistry feels right from both sides. A requirement is that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
