As a candidate for this position, you should be thorough, organized, attentive, flexible, and good at following directions. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team. It is important that you take responsibility for completing your tasks, and it is an advantage if you take initiative. It is also important that you are attentive to what the service user wants and needs. We are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant. Prior experience is beneficial, but the most important thing is that there is a good personal rapport. It is important that you understand what personal assistance work entails. The service user is a young boy with extensive 24-hour care needs. It is important that as an assistant, you take your job seriously and help with personal hygiene, mobility, activities, school, and all other daily routines. You will be part of a work team where there is dual assistance around the clock with the service user. It is important that as an assistant, you are attentive, conscientious, take responsibility, and are confident. Trust is very important. You must be flexible with your tasks and working hours. We are looking for someone who can work scheduled shifts and also individuals who can work extra shifts when needed. Working hours are varied, and you must be able to work day, evening, and night shifts. You must have a strong command of Swedish, both spoken and written, as we have documentation requirements. This position is part-time with immediate employment, but we also welcome applicants who can work as needed. It is important that you are flexible and can step in and work when the need arises. Please prepare a background check for work with children according to LSS and an extract from the suspicion register.
