We are now seeking a personal assistant for a 14-year-old girl in Sävar. This is an assignment for someone who appreciates building relationships, creating a sense of security, and being part of another person's development over time.
The work involves no heavy lifting or physically demanding tasks. Instead, the focus is on presence, communication, safety, and creating conditions for a good daily life. You'll have the opportunity to develop valuable skills in communication, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-arousal approaches – experiences that are useful both in working life and in your interactions with people throughout life.
You will work closely with a warm and engaged family who sees the assistant role as an important part of their daughter's quality of life. Together, you'll create a secure everyday life where development can unfold at its own pace. This is an assignment where you often get a lot back. The more you engage in the relationship, communication, and daily life, the more opportunity you'll have to see progress, build trust, and experience the joy in the small and big steps that happen along the way.
The workplace is located in a calm, nature-rich environment near the sea, which contributes to a harmonious work environment in Sävar with good conditions for focus and presence. The position is also suitable if you're studying and looking for meaningful work alongside your studies.
About the Position
We're looking for both those who want to work on a regular schedule and those who want to work on an as-needed basis. Since this is a new assignment, there's an opportunity to be involved from the start, grow into the role, and develop your position over time. Work shifts are scheduled during day, evening, and night hours.
