About the Assignment Our client lives with his family in the countryside, approximately 1 mile outside Åseda in Uppvidinge Municipality. Here there is peace and quiet, and the focus is on being available to our client in all aspects of everyday life. The client is a 69-year-old man with a great interest in nature, gardening, art, film, popular science literature, and natural sciences. He does not have verbal communication but communicates by spelling with eye blinks. With practice and commitment, it is possible to create a functional dialogue. Work tasks include personal care, medical interventions such as managing a trach and respirator, and support with walks and other calm activities. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in working with people with special needs and who has the ability to see the person behind the disability. You are self-confident, attentive and thorough, while also having a willingness to learn the assignment and develop in the role. You work closely with our client and his family, which makes good personal chemistry important. Experience in care work is a merit but not a requirement. Requirements - you cannot be allergic to fur-bearing animals - driver's license and access to a car - very good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing.
