About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (Act Concerning Support and Services for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. Our client is a 57-year-old man living in Degeberga. Our client lives with an acquired brain injury and needs support and help with everything in his daily life. He enjoys going on outings and various activities and has a great interest in cars, motors, and autocross racing. The assistants working with the client currently have all worked together for many years and it is a wonderful work group with great care for each other and the client. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. We would like you to be a positive, flexible, responsible, and structured person with good self-awareness who is accustomed to meeting people's different needs. For this position, you must: have previous experience working in care/health services or personal assistance have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written have a B driver's license and access to a car (to get to the workplace) have good physical health tolerate pet fur, as there are cats in the client's home For this position, it is advantageous if you: have experience working with mobility aids have experience with low-arousal interaction Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary This position is a temporary assignment from August 10, 2026, through May 31, 2027. The current employment form is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an end date, and the employment level is 62.5%. Working hours are 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 2:00 PM–9:30 PM, on weekdays and weekends. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement.
