Your Responsibilities You will work as a personal assistant for a woman in her 40s who uses a wheelchair and lives in central Umeå. Your mission is to provide support in both daily life and leisure time, and you will be an important part of creating security, structure, and quality of life. The work is varied and may include: Support with personal care Help with everyday tasks such as cooking, baking, and household chores Walks, activities, and outings Social activities and other elements that create a meaningful daily life The work includes heavy lifting tasks; mobility aids must be used, and there is a pet (cat) in the home, so you should not have allergies. About You We are looking for someone who is confident, attentive, and has a positive attitude. If you enjoy cooking, baking, or taking walks, that is a great plus since these are part of the client's daily life. We place great importance on personal suitability. We would like you to have experience or education in care and nursing, but it is not a requirement—the right personality and commitment are most important. In order for you to communicate with the client and colleagues, write and have access to care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Other Information The position is a temporary assignment, part-time approximately 85%, starting 2026-10-05 through 2026-12-31 with the possibility of extension/permanent employment.
