Personal Assistant to Woman with Epilepsy in Gothenburg

We are currently looking for you to join our wonderful team and work as a personal assistant for our female client in Majorna, Gothenburg. What does this position involve? You will be working with a 40-year-old woman with epilepsy and mobility challenges who lives in her own apartment with her dog. As a personal assistant, you are an important part of her daily life. Your tasks include support with personal hygiene, mobility assistance, daily routines, and household chores. The client communicates independently, and it is important that you have a calm and adaptable approach, as well as the ability to listen and adjust to her varying condition. During epileptic seizures, you need to be able to act confidently, be present, and make assessments based on the situation. You will also help with care for her dog. The client has an interest in dogs, film, and music – if you share these interests or are a creative person, we see that as a plus. You will join a professional work group with high engagement and good knowledge of the client. This requires you to be adaptable and team-oriented. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is dedicated, respectful, attentive, and unpretentious. We would like you to have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally. The client is looking for you to be: A trained nursing assistant with experience in epilepsy care A woman Comfortable with dogs (or not afraid/allergic) Socially competent Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written To be eligible for this position, you need to be able to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
