About the Position In your role as a personal assistant, you help the customer with what arises in their daily life. Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Each customer is unique, and work tasks vary based on individual needs. The work may include, for example, assistance with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making everyday life function in a safe and smooth manner. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the customer. Since each assistance is unique, we will learn more about you during the recruitment process to create the best possible match. You will receive information about which customer or customers you may work for and how the work is organized in each assignment. At Humana, it is important that both you as an assistant and the customer feel secure in the collaboration. Therefore, all new assistants receive a customized introduction, both to the professional role and to the specific customer you will work for. Who Are You? We are looking for someone who is good at creating positive relationships, has great commitment, wants to take responsibility, and adapts easily to new situations. Since all our customers have different needs and wishes, we ask you to answer the selection questions as clearly and thoroughly as possible – this increases the chances that we can match you with the right assignment. We are now looking for someone who meets the following: has good knowledge of Swedish wants to work as an hourly substitute in addition to your regular employment has previous experience working as a personal assistant or in similar work It is also an advantage if you: have a B driving license and access to a car Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours and Employment Type As an hourly substitute, you work as needed for one or more of our customers in Jönköping or Huskvarna. Working hours vary based on customer needs and may include days, evenings, nights, weekdays, and weekends. We try to the extent possible to match your availability and wishes with the operation's needs. Please describe your availability and any preferences regarding working hours in your application. If you are also interested in working during the summer, please feel free to mention that in your application. Start Date Start date is by agreement. Working at Humana A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you as an applicant can present a valid ID document and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old. Based on legislation, we as an employer are required to request a certificate from the police criminal record registry from all employees who will work as personal assistants to a child under 18 years. Therefore, you need to present a certificate from the police criminal record registry and suspicion registry prior to potential employment.
