You will work with a cheerful and social young woman who enjoys engaging in fun activities – everything from going out in town, singing and playing games to swimming and going to the movies. She lives at home with her family, which means you'll be working in a multi-person household where it's important that you respect others' privacy and can conduct yourself professionally in the family's daily life. About the Role As a personal assistant, you provide support in the areas of daily life where her disability creates limitations. This includes assistance with mobility, personal hygiene, and meals. You also accompany her to daytime activities Monday through Friday and participate in activities that create quality of life and joy in her everyday routine. About the Position This is a temporary position that may be offered the opportunity to transition to part-time permanent hours, with shifts scheduled during daytime, evenings, and weekends. Personal suitability is given significant weight.
