About the position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance assignment is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client's individual needs drive the workday, and your work may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. Who are you? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. For this position, you must: want to work with a man in his 20s living in a house with his family in Åkersberga have good knowledge of Swedish be able to swim have good physical condition to perform heavy lifting be a non-smoker tolerate fur-bearing animals For this position, it is a merit if you: have experience communicating using PODD / AKK have experience with tube feeding have experience with epilepsy have experience with CPAP Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working hours, position level, and salary The current employment form is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with a position level of approximately 80-85%. Day shifts vary between 8:00 AM–6:00 PM and 9:00 AM–7:30 PM. Night shifts vary between 7:15 PM–8:15 AM (active nights) and 7:30 PM–8:00 AM (on-call nights of approximately 7 hours). There is double assistance 24 hours a day, Monday through Sunday. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date immediately or by agreement.
