About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with everything that comes up in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, and therefore work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client is a 75-year-old woman living in Gothenburg who spends her summers in her summer house in beautiful Hälleviksstrand on Orust. On Orust, she enjoys her garden, is very interested in art, and likes sewing and watercolor painting. She needs help with everything that comes up in daily life such as personal care and maintaining her home and garden. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant requires a strong ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good chemistry between you as the assistant and the client. For this position, you must: have experience in personal assistance or other work in care and health services have good knowledge of Swedish and Dari have a B-category driver's license and your own car to get to work be able to work in a home where there is a dog For this position, it is advantageous if you: share the client's interests in gardening, sewing, and watercolor painting can speak English Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "for the duration of the assistance assignment" with an employment level of 60%. Working hours are 10:00–15:25, and you work every other weekend. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date immediately or by agreement.
