About the Position Personal assistance is a service under the LSS (Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's autonomy and integrity, and helps make everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client is a woman in her 70s living in Västra Frölunda with her husband. The woman has MS and needs help with everything that may come up in her daily life apart from transfers, personal hygiene, and exercise. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. For this position, you must: have good knowledge of Swedish be independent like order and organization For this position, it is beneficial if you: have experience with similar work have experience with transfer aids such as lifts have previous experience working with MS Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "hourly employment," which means work as needed with varying hours during day and evening. Usually shifts are 07:30-11:00 and 21:00-22:00, but some changes in times may occur. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to the collective agreement.
