About the Position Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. Our client is a woman in her 80s living with MS and uses a wheelchair. She has a great interest in flowers, painting, crosswords, baking, and bingo. She also enjoys activities around the home and garden or taking walks! Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the client. For this position, you are required to: have experience working in healthcare/care or personal assistance have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written have experience with mobility aids such as floor lifts have good physical health be smoke- and fragrance-free (during working hours) For this position, it is advantageous if you: have a B-class driver's license Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "hourly employment," which means work as needed with varying hours during day, evening, and night shifts on weekdays and weekends. Working hours are varied, with examples being 07:00–16:00, 16:00–22:00, and 16:00–07:00 with 8 hours on-call time at night. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date immediately or by agreement.
