A personal assistant helps someone with basic needs, such as eating, dressing, washing, and communicating. We are now recruiting several personal assistants for a user at Tomtebo. Your responsibilities The user is a small child who needs support with all care needs. Tasks include personal hygiene, dressing, transfers, tube feeding, and suctioning via tracheostomy (trach). The user requires dual assistance at all times of day and night, and night shifts are included. You will become an important part of the child's daily life and will also accompany the family on activities, such as shopping, hospital visits, and outings. The family is active and enjoys spending time in the forest and nature. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. About you As a personal assistant, you need to be attentive and empathetic, with the ability to focus on the user's needs. You are solution-oriented and can take your own initiative with a positive attitude, seeing possibilities rather than obstacles. We also see that you are someone who enjoys creative activities, being outdoors, and staying active. We place great importance on personal suitability. We would appreciate if you have training as a nursing assistant and experience working in healthcare and care, tracheostomy care, and working with infants. A B-category driver's license is also desirable, but not required. What matters most to us are your personal qualities. To communicate with the user, family members, and colleagues, as well as to write and access care documentation, you must have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
