About the Position Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth-running everyday life. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. We are looking for someone who wants to work with a 7-year-old boy, living with his family in Stockholm/Östermalm. However, the family spends most weekends at their country cottage on Älgö in Nacka. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is flexible and can work at both locations. This is an assignment for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be a safe and important part of the boy's daily life, both at home in Stockholm and at the family's country cottage. You will support the client in personal care and daily routines as well as participate in play, activities, and physical movement. For this position, you must: have previous experience working with children with autism have good knowledge of Swedish have experience working with clear structure and low-affect management (LAB) as well as adapting communication based on the child's needs have a driver's license and access to your own car, as this makes it easier to get to the workplace be able to swim Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Work Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts," with an employment level of approximately 50–60%. Work hours are primarily scheduled for evenings on weekdays, 5:00 PM–9:00 PM, and daytime on weekends, 8:00 AM–7:30 PM. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start Date: Immediately or by agreement.
