About the Position Personal assistance is a service provided under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for People with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that comes up in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks can vary depending on the workplace. The client's individual needs guide the workday, and your tasks may include assistance with mobility, personal care, exercise and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and takes responsibility. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client. For this position, you must: have a valid driver's license and access to a car to commute to the workplace have good knowledge of Swedish be able to work in a household with pets be smoke-free during working hours For this position, it is advantageous if you: have experience in personal assistance or other care work share one of the client's interests, such as car rides, music, outdoor activities, walks, and scooter riding Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Rate, and Salary This is a fixed-term position with approximately 45% employment. The employment runs from 2026-08-10 through 2027-01-25, with possible extension. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays from 14:30-20:00. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date 2026-08-10 or by agreement.
