We are now looking for hourly personal assistants for an active and lovely female client in Trollhättan. For the right person, there are opportunities for many work assignments and continued work over time. We would like you to start your hourly position immediately, so you get a safe introduction and have time to settle into the work. The client is active and enjoys doing various activities in her spare time. A requirement is that you are a competent swimmer as the client visits the swimming pool several times a week. We are looking for someone who is responsible and has a strong work ethic. You are flexible, cheerful, and positive and enjoy working together with others. During the day, we always work with two assistants together, which places high demands on your ability to collaborate and contribute to a good work environment. You need to be able to work day, evening, and night shifts. The shifts are currently scheduled for 07.30–19.00, 08.30–20.10, and 20.00–07.35. Your Assignment The client has extensive care needs and you will work with transfers, personal hygiene, and personal care. As a personal assistant, you are the client's extended arms and legs and support her in what she cannot do herself. The work may include everything from personal care, hygiene, and household tasks to accompanying her on various activities and outings. For the client's health, it is important that you do not smoke during work hours. Your Purpose Your task is to support and facilitate the client's everyday life and contribute to a safe, active, and meaningful existence. Working hours are adapted to the client's needs and decisions, which means you need to be open to working day, evening, and night shifts. As an hourly employee, it is important that you are flexible and able to step in when needed, for example during sick leave, vacation, and other shorter absences. There may also be opportunities for more work assignments for you who have flexible availability and enjoy the role. Your Background We would like you to have experience working as a personal assistant or in care and support, but the most important thing is that you have the right personal qualities and a willingness to do good work. To thrive and function in the role, you need to be in good physical condition, as the work includes pulling and pushing a wheelchair and performing various transfers. You also need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as communication is an important part of the work. It is an advantage if you have experience or knowledge of brain injuries and epilepsy. As a person, you are empathetic and find it easy to put yourself in someone else's perspective or situation. You are flexible and can see opportunities even when circumstances change. Furthermore, you are calm and confident and have the ability to stay calm and composed in various situations that may arise. You also have the ability to focus on the right things and always keep the client's needs and well-being in focus.
