We are now seeking a personal assistant for a 73-year-old man with an acquired brain injury who lives alone in his apartment in Järfälla. He receives around-the-clock assistance. As a personal assistant, you are an important part of his daily life. The work involves being active, engaged, and resourceful and together creating a safe and meaningful everyday life. You will among other things help with personal hygiene, meals, communication, and other daily activities. It is important that you enjoy being active and that you can take your own initiative. The client appreciates sports, cars, and music, and we would therefore like to see that you share some of these interests. We are looking for you who: • Are resourceful, proactive, and engaged • Enjoy sports and/or cars • Have an interest in music • Are calm and can remain calm even in challenging situations • Are confident in yourself and have a stable approach • Are attentive and clear in your work methods • Have good collaboration skills • Work with motivation and engagement You need to be able to speak, understand, and write Swedish fluently, as daily written documentation is part of the work. Previous experience working in personal assistance is a merit. Experience working with challenging behaviors is also a merit. However, the most important thing is that you have the right personal qualities and the ability to be attentive, calm, and professional in your work. Working hours vary and shifts are scheduled for: • Day • Afternoon • Evening • Night • Weekend We work according to a rotating schedule and are looking for both those who want to work more continuously and those interested in supplementary work. As a personal assistant at Prima Omsorg, mandatory training and staff meetings are included.
