About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that comes up in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance is uniquely tailored based on the client's life, so work tasks can vary depending on the workplace. The client's individual needs guide the workday, and your work may include assistance with mobility, personal care, exercise and communication, as well as everyday chores and activities in and outside the home. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. For this position, you must: want to work for a man in his 40s living in Falun have previous experience in similar work have good knowledge of Swedish have good physical fitness be smoke-free during work hours have experience communicating using alternative communication methods For this position, it is advantageous if you: have experience with tube feeding have experience with transfer techniques Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Work Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "hourly employment," which means work as needed with working hours during day, evening, and night in the form of 24-hour shifts from 09.00–09.00 on both weekdays and weekends. Fixed hourly wages by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date: Immediately or by agreement.
