About the Position We are now seeking an engaged personal assistant for a woman in her 30s who lives in her own apartment in central Skellefteå. This is a longer-term temporary position at approximately 55% and we are looking for someone who wants to provide personal and secure support in her daily life. As an assistant, you are the client's extended arms and legs. Since the client lives in her own home, your role is central to ensuring her daily life runs smoothly. The work is varied and includes support with everything from personal hygiene and mobility assistance to cooking and daily household tasks. You will also be present as support during activities outside the home and help the client live an active and independent life. Personal assistance is a service provided under LSS (the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making daily life run smoothly. Every assistance is uniquely adapted based on the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the client. For this position, you must: Be able to come to work fragrance and perfume-free (client has allergies) Have good knowledge of Swedish Respect allergies to nuts and eggs (these may not be brought to the workplace) The client is allergic to fur animals. You may have pets at home, but it is very important that you wear clean clothes free from fur when you come to work. Be able to work awake night shifts Be a non-smoker (during work hours) Have good physical fitness and be able to perform heavy lifting For this position, it is meriting if you: Have experience with similar work Have experience with respirators/respiratory support Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Work Hours, Position Level, and Salary The position is a longer-term temporary assignment at approximately 55% (on average 22 hours per week). There is currently no set end date for the temporary position, and your manager will have ongoing dialogue with you and provide updates regarding the position's length. Work hours are scheduled for awake night shifts, both on weekdays and weekends. Shifts are scheduled between 00:00–07:15. For the right person, there are good opportunities for extension after the temporary assignment ends. The formal employment arrangement for the temporary assignment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts," with a set end date. Before you begin your schedule and work independently, you will undergo a paid introduction/onboarding together with the client. During the onboarding period, you will receive a separate contract for a limited-time hourly employment with a set end date. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date by agreement. The temporary assignment begins in August.
