About the Position Personal assistance is a service provided under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and helping make everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client is a 33-year-old woman living in Liljeholmen. Due to a spinal cord injury, she uses a wheelchair and needs support from personal assistants to manage her daily life. She works part-time in the mornings, usually from home. As her assistant, you'll be by her side providing the support she needs to manage her work and daily life smoothly. After the workday ends, she enjoys relaxing at home, often by watching movies or TV series. Your work tasks will include helping her with personal care, household chores, and support with activities and work. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant requires strong skills in building good relationships. We're looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and calm. It's also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it's essential that there's good personal chemistry between you and the client. For this position, you must have: Good Swedish language skills Be a non-smoker Good physical fitness to perform heavy lifting For this position, it is an advantage if you: Have experience from similar work Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
