We are looking for a confident, warm, and responsible personal assistant for a woman living in Hovås. The work involves being a support in everyday life and helping with both personal care and practical tasks at home. It is important that you are attentive and respect that it is the client who decides how to spend her day and how she wants to receive help. About the Work The duties may include: • Personal hygiene and showering • Toilet visits and getting dressed • Support with transfers and use of walking aids/wheelchair • Help with meals and cooking • Dishwashing, laundry, and tidying the home • Support with shopping and activities • Help with communication when needed • Support during healthcare visits and other errands • Following medication routines according to instructions/delegation • Being attentive to mood, tiredness, pain, and need for rest About You You are above all: Calm and patient You don't get stressed and give the client the time she needs to communicate and do what she can manage herself. Attentive and respectful You have an understanding of personal integrity and can work closely with a person in her home in a professional manner. Confident with transfers You are thorough and follow instructions to make transfers as safe as possible. Independent and organized You see what needs to be done and take responsibility for your tasks. Positive and flexible You can adapt to her mood and at the same time encourage activity and participation. Experience with personal assistance, personal care, wheelchairs, and transfers is a merit. Personal suitability is very important. Working Hours The work includes both daytime and evening shifts according to schedule. Work shifts may be approximately 09.00–17.58 and 20.05–22.00, as well as on-call/safety on-call according to the current schedule.
