About the Position
Personal assistance is a support service under LSS (the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that comes up in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace.
Greeting from the Client: I am a happy and social 20-year-old guy living in Bromma. I enjoy spending time with my friends, listening to music, visiting museums, and doing other fun activities. As my personal assistant, you will be an important part of my everyday life. You will help me with meals, exercise, personal hygiene, and communication, among other things. My days will mostly be spent at a day program, but we will also spend time at home or out doing various activities. My family and assistants usually describe me as a real joy spreader with a contagious smile. I like when things happen and am therefore looking for an assistant who is creative, resourceful, and enjoys planning activities with me and my friends.
It is important to me that you are attentive, kind, and reliable in your approach. You also need to be in good physical condition as the work involves some lifting.
For this position, you must have:
previous experience working as a personal assistant in relatively complex assignments
good knowledge of Swedish
be a non-smoker (during work hours)
For this position, it is advantageous if you:
have experience working with a client without verbal speech
have experience with PEG, standing frame, and other assistive devices
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
Working Hours, Position Level, and Salary
The current employment arrangement is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with a position level of 50%. Working hours vary and are scheduled for day, evening, weekend, and night shifts (active hours). Weekdays: 08:00–15:00, 15:00–21:00, or 21:00–08:00. Weekends: 08:00–19:00 or 19:00–08:00.
Fixed hourly salary by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement.
Start Date: August 31, 2026, or by agreement.
