About the Position In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in her daily life. Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for People with Certain Disabilities). You will respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly. The client's individual needs will guide your workday, and your work may include, for example, assistance with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities both inside and outside the home. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. We are now seeking someone who matches the following: Willing to work with a 6-year-old girl living in Kalix Good knowledge of Swedish Comfortable with pets (Cat and dog in the home) Comfortable working in a school environment and collaborating with educators and parents As the position involves work with children, a criminal record certificate is required Non-smoker (during working hours) It is also meritorious if you: Have experience with similar work Have experience with tube feeding and autism Have experience working with children Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Position Percentage, and Salary: The current employment type is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts." Before the position starts, you will undergo a paid introduction/orientation. During the orientation period, you will receive a contract for a fixed-term hourly position with a set end date." We are seeking someone interested in a position of approximately 80%. The position involves work during daytime, evening, and nighttime on both weekdays and weekends. Work shifts are scheduled 07:00–16:30 and 18:00–07:00, with standby time occurring 01:00–06:00. During school weeks, the client is at school Monday through Thursday from 08:00–12:00, and you will be present to support her during the school day. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date immediately or by agreement. End date of the temporary assignment has not yet been determined. Working at Humana A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you as an applicant can present a valid ID document and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old. According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record certificate from all employees who will work as personal assistants to a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you will need to provide a certificate from the police's criminal record register and suspicion register prior to any employment.
