Personal Assistant Needed for 31-Year-Old Man

Linen Assistans is a small personal assistance company that works with proximity and accessibility in mind. With us, everyone should feel seen and know that we are here for YOU – whether you're a client, family member, or personal assistant. We are looking for you to work as a personal assistant for a 31-year-old man who lives in his own apartment in Hörby and needs support to make his everyday life function – and most importantly, to live life the way he chooses. Here you'll have a job where your days can look very different. One moment you might help with everyday tasks at home, the next you might be playing video games, working on something at the computer, or doing something outside the apartment. If you're interested in computers and gaming, you already have something in common! The client is mobile, but due to his disability, he is unsteady and can easily stumble. Therefore, he needs someone by his side who is attentive and can provide support when needed. He also needs help and support with most everyday activities. You don't need to be a superhero – but you need to be confident in yourself, responsible, and brave enough to speak up when the situation requires it. You also need to be flexible and able to adapt to both his mood and the situation. Since this is a substitute position, it's important that you can step in with short notice when needed. As a personal assistant, you become an important part of another person's everyday life. We therefore believe you are someone who stands firmly on both feet, can take responsibility and set boundaries when needed – but who can also be relaxed, have a sense of humor, and bring your whole self to the job. If you have previous experience with ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and low-emotional-intensity communication, that's a plus. However, it's just as important that you are attentive, have patience, and can keep calm even when things don't go as planned. Personal chemistry matters. You will work closely with another person, and therefore we are looking for someone who can be a reliable support when needed and at the same time help make everyday life fun and meaningful. When the client is off from his regular activities, you typically work 24-hour shifts. On other days, shifts are shorter and adapted to his schedule at his regular activities. This is a position-based employment where you work as a substitute when regular staff are sick, on vacation, or absent for other reasons. This could be perfect for you if you want a social and varied side job where you actually make a difference – and where an interest in gaming is definitely valuable knowledge.
