What does this role involve? We are now seeking you to work as a personal assistant for me, a 3-year-old girl who lives with my family in Vintrie. I was born with a rare disability that means I need help with most things in my daily life, such as monitoring my breathing, epilepsy management, feeding, hygiene, and care. I have round-the-clock assistance and am also connected with ASIH, who make regular visits to monitor my development and needs. I have various assistive devices from habilitation services that I use both at home and at preschool, for example a standing frame, walking frame, stroller, and bouncer. I am a happy girl with a great sense of humor who enjoys cuddling, listening to music, and stories. On weekdays I attend an adapted preschool where my assistant is with me at all times, and in the evenings, nights, and weekends you will mainly work from home with me and take short walks/outings with me. As an assistant, you will help me with everything that makes my daily life function, and most importantly, we will have many wonderful and fun days together! Who are we looking for? I am looking for assistants who enjoy working with young children like me. As my assistant, you have great responsibility for me, and it is important that you are prepared to take on that responsibility fully and that you are calm and confident in yourself. You need to have previous experience working with children, and ideally you will have worked in assistance or in another capacity with children with disabilities, as I have significant care needs. Working hours: Mixed day, evening, and weekend shifts; after some experience, night shifts (awake nights) may also become relevant. Start date: Immediately or by agreement We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
