About the Job We are seeking an engaged, responsible, and attentive personal assistant for a 25-year-old woman in Järfälla. She uses a wheelchair, is verbal, and can describe the support she needs. As a personal assistant, you will serve as an extension of her and help her live as independent and active a life as possible according to her circumstances. Job duties include: . assistance with transfers and personal hygiene . general support and practical assistance in daily life . operating and pushing a manual wheelchair . accompanying and assisting with gym training . support with activities and errands . support with future studies, for example with note-taking and practical tasks The work is periodically physically demanding. Therefore, you need to have good physical ability and be able to assist with transfers and operate and push a wheelchair both indoors and outdoors. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who is confident, responsible, and has a genuine interest in working with people. You need to be able to work independently while being attentive to the user's wishes, self-determination, and privacy. Experience as a personal assistant, in care and support, or working with people with disabilities is advantageous. Since the user is planning to start studying, it is also advantageous if you are pedagogical, organized, and can assist with, for example, note-taking and other practical support in academic situations. We are looking for someone who: . has good physical ability . can express yourself well and understand Swedish . is a non-smoker . is responsible and punctual . is comfortable with active work that includes gym training, transfers, and wheelchair operation . is attentive and respects the user's self-determination and privacy Due to the intimate nature of the work, the user prefers female applicants.
