About the Position In the role of personal assistant, you help the customer with what comes up in their daily life. Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). Each customer is unique and the work tasks vary based on individual needs. The work can include, for example, help with mobility, personal care, exercise and daily chores and activities inside and outside the home. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making everyday life safe and smooth. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good chemistry between you and the customer. At Humana, it is important that both you as an assistant and the customer feel secure in the collaboration. Therefore, all new assistants receive customized orientation, both to the professional role and to the specific customer you will be working with. Who Are You? We are looking for someone who is good at building positive relationships, has great commitment, is willing to take responsibility, and can easily adapt to new situations. Since all our customers have different needs and wishes, we ask you to answer the selection questions as clearly and thoroughly as possible – this increases the chance that we can match you with the right assignment. We are now looking for you who meet the following: good knowledge of Swedish valid driver's license (manual) access to your own car can work in households where there are or may be pets good physical health It is also advantageous if you: have experience working as a personal assistant or in similar work Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours and Employment Form As an hourly substitute, you work as needed. Working hours are 24-hour shifts on both weekdays and weekends. Start Date Start date is by agreement. Working at Humana A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you as an applicant can present a valid ID document and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old. According to legislation, we as an employer must request a criminal background check from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police's criminal record and suspicion register before potential employment.
