We are now looking for a dedicated and responsible personal assistant for a woman in her 70s with MS. She lives in Västerås. In your role as an assistant, you will make a difference in her life and have the opportunity to help a person live on equal terms as others, as much as possible. The position means you become an important part of her daily life and contribute to security, development, and quality of life. The work includes everything from personal care, intimate hygiene, mobility assistance, use of various assistive devices, help with activities, etc. Your workplace is in her home and wherever she may be. Working hours are scheduled for daytime/evening, both on weekdays and weekends. We would appreciate if you can also work with short notice when needed, due to illness or similar. Since you will be part of a team of personal assistants selected by and for your specific client, it is therefore important to have good work ethic where everyone supports each other and can work with short notice when needed, due to illness or similar. We also see that you are available during summer and vacation periods. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We would like you to have a flexible and independent work approach and easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good competence in documentation and have a professional approach. As a candidate, you have a genuine interest and feeling for caring for people. Other qualities that are good in this job are a good sense of humor, calmness, patience, and being responsible. You should be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important. It is a great merit if you have experience working in personal assistance. Because we care about our customers' safety and security, we have a routine of obtaining extracts from the criminal record register for all people employed in the company. This means that upon employment we will request a register extract from you before you can start working.
