He lives with ALS and uses a wheelchair, but despite his impaired speech, he is communicative and clear about his needs and wishes. Here you have the opportunity to work closely with a person where relationships, security, and social interaction are at the center. This is a role for you who wants to contribute to quality of life, participation, and an active daily life. About the role As a personal assistant, you become an important support in both everyday and social situations. The tasks include, among other things: • Assistance with personal hygiene • Light housekeeping • Tube feeding • Social company and conversation • Accompanying on walks and activities The customer enjoys getting out and doing things, and you play an important role in encouraging and making this possible. The work is not physically demanding, but it requires you to be attentive, present, and respectful in your interactions. We are looking for you who Are confident, empathetic, and responsible with a positive attitude and genuine commitment to people. You thrive in a role where the relationship with the customer is central and where you have the opportunity to create security and continuity in daily life. You do not need to have previous experience with the specific assistive devices used in this role. We offer thorough training and supervision so that you have the opportunity to learn the tasks at your own pace together with experienced staff. Previous experience in healthcare and elderly care is a merit but not a requirement – personal suitability and chemistry are the most important factors. A driver's license is a plus. About the position We are looking primarily for you who want to work as a temporary employee as needed. The work is mainly on weekdays, but some weekend shifts may occur. Working hours are mainly approximately 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. At the same time, we are flexible and try to adapt the arrangement to the right person.
