Personal assistance is a service under LSS (Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You will respect the client's autonomy and integrity, and help ensure that everyday life runs smoothly. About the Position The role of personal assistant requires excellent interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. We welcome applications from female candidates for this position, but the greatest weight will be placed on personal suitability. We are now seeking someone who meets the following criteria: • Willing to work for an 11-year-old girl living in Linköping • Has good Swedish language skills • Has previous experience in care work • Has experience with epilepsy • Does not have pets in your household (due to allergies in the client's household) • Is a non-smoker (during working hours) • Can provide a clean criminal record check and police statement It is also advantageous if you: • Share the client's interests • Have previously worked as a personal assistant Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The employment is "for the duration of the assistance assignment" with an employment level of approximately 50%. Working hours are 13:30-20:00 on certain weekdays and 09:00-18:00 every other weekend. Fixed hourly salary by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date is immediate or by agreement. Working at Humana A prerequisite for beginning employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID document and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old. Under applicable legislation, we as an employer must request a criminal record check from all employees who will work as a personal assistant to a child under 18 years of age.
