Personal assistant needed for an 18-year-old woman in Kungälv We are seeking a personal assistant for an 18-year-old woman in Kungälv with extensive and ongoing support needs. The work involves providing daily support while creating safety, structure, and predictability. The role requires a calm, respectful, and professional approach, as well as the ability to adapt support based on the user's needs and current state. The user has diagnoses of autism, severe intellectual disability, epilepsy, blindness in both eyes, and moderate depressive episode. The position can be both mentally and physically demanding. We are therefore looking for someone who is stable, patient, and confident in their approach. Job Duties Job duties may include: Personal hygiene Dressing and undressing Support with meals/feeding Assistance to doctor and other care contacts Support in creating structure, safety, and predictability in daily life Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Good ability to work calmly and in a structured manner Ability to communicate clearly and simply (short phrases and calm approach) Understanding of people with extensive disabilities and need for individually adapted support Ability to notice early signs of stress/anxiety and act preventatively Good collaboration skills and a professional approach Merit It is advantageous if you have: Experience in personal assistance, care work, or working with people with special needs Knowledge of autism and intellectual disability Experience working with people with sensory sensitivity Experience with low-arousal approaches Knowledge of Swedish and Ukrainian Personal Qualities We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
