As a member of our team, you have an important role in our common goal of providing the best possible service and care to our service users. We have regular workplace meetings and collaboration with other stakeholders both within and outside our field of activity. Work is based on LSS, that is to meet the service user's basic needs through support and assistance so that good living conditions are ensured. The person's needs and how the services are provided are described in an implementation plan. In addition to daily work with the service user, documentation in our LifeCare documentation system is included, as well as performing health and medical care tasks as delegated by the responsible nurse. As a member of staff, you actively and regularly participate in information on the municipality's intranet and via your work email. The position includes skills development through Yrkesresan. Yrkesresan is a structured approach to introduction and long-term skills development. The Position The job involves work in the service user's home, accompanying them on activities and to and from daily activities. Bathing and riding occur regularly where you may participate and support the service user. Cooking, cleaning/laundry, shopping and personal hygiene are obvious daily tasks. You will be part of a work team of four people in total, but you usually work alone with the service user. You follow established routines that have been developed to meet the service user's need for structure, predictability and security. You, like your colleagues, are responsible for completing bookings and orders (for example consumables or dental appointments). You contribute with your own ideas and reflections so that the activity maintains good quality and develops. You have a salutogenic approach based on the service user's needs and self-determination. We place great emphasis on social competence and personal suitability. Personal chemistry is a prerequisite, so a visit with the service user may be relevant as part of the recruitment process. 6 months probationary employment. Working hours are distributed across day, evening/night, weekends with on-call sleep duty. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis so don't delay sending your application. QUALIFICATIONS • You must be at least 18 years old • Education from a Care and Healthcare program or other education that the employer deems equivalent • Driver's license (Category B) • Experience from previous work with service users with autism and intellectual disabilities is considered meritorious • Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing As a person, we see that you are flexible and able to adapt easily to different circumstances and situations. Furthermore, we would like to see that you have good teamwork skills and can work well with others by being attentive and communicating in an open and constructive manner.
