We are seeking substitute assistants for our client in Dalby to fill in during the absence of regular assistants. Our client, who is seeking substitute assistants, has ALS and requires assistance with all personal care, daily living activities, and mobility. In this team, assistants work around the clock with two-person coverage for much of the day. The client wishes to live as active a life as possible and has an adapted vehicle for transportation; a driver's license is therefore required. He communicates independently and tells you what assistance he needs. You do not need to have worked as a personal assistant before, but you need to be attentive and alert. You will work in a family where you are an important piece of the puzzle to make daily life function. This position is a casual/as-needed employment involving substitution during the absence of regular personal assistants. Working hours are 07 - 17:30 or 10 - 19:30 on weekdays, and 07 - 16:30 or 10 - 19:30 on weekends.
