Personal assistant for an active 17-year-old boy About the position: We are now seeking a personal assistant for a 17-year-old boy who lives in Borås. He is a social, humorous, and energetic young person who enjoys being active and has many different interests. He has a significant need for clarity, structure, and routines as he has autism, ADHD, and intellectual disability. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, exercising, playing instruments, bowling, crafting, playing games, listening to music, dancing, and more. He appreciates both fast-paced activities and quieter moments, and thrives best when his daily routine is clear, structured, and predictable. As an assistant, you will be an important support in his everyday life. You will help with planning, structure, motivation, and guidance in various situations. The work also includes support with meals, personal care, activities, and social settings. You need to be able to adapt your support based on his mood and situation while contributing to a safe, positive, and nurturing environment. Who we are looking for We are seeking assistants immediately for the following positions: - Hourly substitutes - 40-50% position Working hours are scheduled for afternoons and evenings and include nights with standby on certain days. During the day, the client attends day services without an assistant. Who are we looking for? We are looking for you if you: - Are a man or woman over 35 years old - Are clear, pedagogical, and have great patience - Have an interest in activities and enjoy being active - Can create structure and help plan the day - Have the ability to read situations and adapt your support according to need - Have good Swedish in speech and writing It is advantageous if you have experience working in personal assistance, NPF diagnoses, or working with young people.
