We are seeking a personal assistant for a cheerful and humorous middle-aged man who uses a wheelchair and lives in Klippans kommun. The role involves providing daily support, including assistance with transfers, personal care, household tasks, and activities outside the home. No previous experience is required, but we place great emphasis on personal suitability, attentiveness, and good collaboration.
As my personal assistant, you will be a practical and reliable support in my daily life. Work tasks include assistance with transfers to and from my wheelchair, personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, cleaning, cooking, and other everyday chores. I am also active in associations, which means you will sometimes accompany and support me during activities outside the home.
We would like you to:
· express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, as I am active in associations and participate in various settings.
· have basic computer skills.
· have a driver's license and access to a car, as I live in the countryside with limited public transportation.
· have good physical strength and balance, as the work involves assistance with transfers (no lift available).
· be positive, humorous, and have a good sense of humor.
· be organized and enjoy structure in daily life.
· have a genuine interest in assisting others.
· be flexible and able to adapt to changing situations.
Working hours are scheduled for day, night, and weekend shifts as follows:
· Day shift: 08.00–18.00
· Night shift: 18.00–09.00, including approximately 6 hours on-call
The position consists of varying work shifts according to schedule.
