Personal Assistant

The position is with a man in his 60s who has MS and uses a wheelchair. Your responsibilities will be to assist with everything that comes up in daily life. The work includes helping with basic everyday needs and occasionally accompanying the client to various activities/family gatherings. His main interests are hockey, football, and harness racing, but also films/series. If you share any interests with him, that's a positive, but absolutely not a requirement. You don't need any prior experience to work for him as he provides on-site supervision and has a team of good assistants available. Schedules/shifts are always between 6:45-14:15, 13:45-21:15, and nights 20:45-07:15 on both weekdays and weekends. ABOUT YOU: We believe that you, as a candidate for this position, are a person who is passionate about working with people and who can attend to others' needs. You are responsible, humble, and flexible as a person. You also need to be goal-oriented and structured in your work with the ability to work independently and build good relationships with the client and staff.
