Residents in need of social services can receive advice, support, and assistance. In most cases, our assistance and services are provided following an individual assessment as part of our authority. We aim for our interventions to lead to independence. Operations focus on interventions for children, youth, and their parents, substance abuse issues, domestic violence, persons with functional impairments who need support in their daily living, persons in need of income support, labor market measures, rehabilitation, and integration. The workplace is based at the service user's home, located in the central town. The position requires a B-category driver's license as driving is part of the job. You work according to a fixed schedule that includes daytime and evening shifts as well as on-call shifts. Working every other weekend. Overnight waking shifts may occur. As a personal assistant, you work to meet a service user's needs based on their unique life situation. Respect for people's self-determination and integrity is the foundation of your work, and you are expected to provide good care and support. There is double staffing during daytime in this case, plus one waking night and one on-call shift at night. Due to the service user's needs, we are seeking only male personnel. 1 position(s). DUTIES The work consists of care activities adapted to the individual. This may include social support, activation, household tasks, help with hygiene, administering medication, and other tasks delegated by a nurse. It is important to communicate well and clearly with the service user, so there are requirements for good proficiency in the Swedish language. It is important to build good relationships with the individual and their loved ones. Your work includes ongoing documentation and you plan and take responsibility for your work based on the implementation plan. We are looking for someone who is confident and flexible in your work role. You are responsible and thorough and see to the service user's needs. You work using a low-arousal approach and are familiar with this methodology. You can create calm and structure for the service user in everyday life to prevent anxiety and uncertainty. You are a curious and solution-oriented person. You want to develop in your work role and learn new things within your profession. Heavy lifting occurs regularly in the work. QUALIFICATIONS Care and support education, child and leisure education, or other education that the employer deems equivalent is meritorious. It is meritorious if you have worked with mental health issues. It is meritorious if you have experience and knowledge of Sign Supported Communication (TAAK), clarifying pedagogy, and low-arousal approaches. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
